Company event stands are crucial as they embody brand identity, fulfil engagement and enable experiential marketing.

It allows opportunities to showcase products, establish market presence and generate leads, creating a competitive edge by offering networking opportunities and aiding in announcements/product launches. Not only that, it provides invaluable market research insights and just generally contributes to public relations efforts.

Our journey into event stand design began unexpectedly in 2008 when we were invited to launch a new brand for Goodyear Dunlop Tyres UK at Crewe Hall which involved a temporary exhibition stand. Following this triumph, a new chapter opened as we undertook a two-year contract at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed (GFOS) with Dunlop. The creation "Dunlop Live," emerged in the stable yard and came with immense acclaim. The setup facilitated constant interviews with legendary drivers including notable figures like Jenson Button shortly after his 2010 F1 championship and Nico Rosberg before his own F1 title victory. Sir Stirling Moss, Mark Webber, and Jackie Stewart also graced our stage, accompanied by awe-inspiring stunts by Dougie Lampkin who fearlessly rode across the Dunlop bridge we had constructed. Our team also gave out thousand yellow Dunlop caps, creating a sea of yellow at the event. Beyond GFOS, we continued with stands across the UK for Dunlop orchestrating an interactive stand circuit for the British Touring Cars series, which became a recurring engagement over the years.

In 2011 we embarked on a groundbreaking endeavour to construct one of the most intricate and challenging stands at Goodwood which would end up returning for three consecutive years. This feat was undertaken for a renowned German car company, involving a ground-up design approach. Every facet of the stand was meticulously conceived and presented using tools such as 3ds Max and Solidworks, and fully project managed by Identity from implementation to delivery. Every single component was designed by our skilled team, ensuring the stand was designed using modular methodology. This ensured components could be reused to optimise the client’s budget, as well as making the stand as sustainable as possible. Following the successful delivery at Goodwood we conceptualised multiple stands to introduce iconic supercars throughout amazing locations and events.

The temporary exhibition building was designed by Identity. It featured a modular design which could be built in varying locations and configurations.

2018 saw us partner with Toyota First to provide them with an exhibition stand for Automechnika at the NEC in Birmingham. As well as looking great, it had to be easy to transport so it could travel with Toyota First to other locations after this first show.  The result; a fully bespoke event stand complete with tailor made protective covers and shipping crates. All the graphics were designed in-house, utilising stretch skin fabrics that can be easily replaced if they were damaged or needed updating. As well as this, we provided a comprehensive assembly and disassembly guide that allowed the stand to be set up easily wherever it was needed without the need for specialist personnel.

Our expertise does not limit us to grand events alone, however. We love a challenge and embrace stands of all shapes and sizes, and can suit all budgets. Continental Tyres UK recently approached us requiring a stand for the Point S Tyres Conference. The exhibition area was within a hotel, so it was important the stand made the most of the available space. We were able to provide Continental with a stand that stood out from the sea of pop-up banners sweeping the room, garnering envy from exhibitors all over the Conference. This gave Continental the opportunity to really make an impact on potential business partners and competitors.

We love a challenge and embrace stands of various sizes and shapes, and to suit all budget types. Over the years we have been honoured to work with some incredible brands: Hyundai (2012 Olympics / GFOS), Alfa Romeo (Giulietta Car launch at Expo London and Saatchi gallery), EE (Goodwood Festival), Toyota (Automechanika), Doosan/Bobcat, Continental (Dealer Conference), Miele (New product launch, Grand Designs), Vulco (Dealer Conference), Caterham (Goodwood Festival). One of our highlights also has to include the launch of the then new headquarters of The Co-operative in Manchester, graced by the presence of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
